Bio:

Khadi Oaxaca is an artisan collective with a cultural, social and environmental mission. We are approximately 400 artisans in the southern mountains of Oaxaca, rescuing the heritage crafts and skills of our Zapotec ancestors. Our textiles are made from socially and environmentally ethical and sustainable materials and processes. Most of the thread that we use is hand-spun from native cotton that is ecologically grown. We take care during the entire production process, from farm to garment, using tools made in the community from local materials.
