Bio:

Eva makes detailed dolls that represent the traditional dances of the state of Oaxaca in Mexico and elaborates pieces that represent and promote the cultures Iindigenous populations of Oaxaca. To make her work Eva only uses corn husks known in Mexico as totomoxtle commonly used to prepare tamales. Each artisan piece is gracefully pieced together and embroidered with totomoxtle thread and corn hair.
